I wish I could remember what the metaphor was for twins… something about a blessing.

Snap, crackle, pop.

I woke up in the morning to make that dreaded drive to work, but I got about halfway there and traffic was absolutely slammed.  Despite all logic, I decided I was going to turn around and go home.  This was back when I lived on campus at UCSD, apparently, up in the Kathmandu dorm.  When I finally made it back, I felt like it as about 8:30… there was much activity.  There was smoke up and around my flat, and several emergency vehicles.  I felt really apathetic, but I could tell my worry was growing by the minute.
